My son/daughter --------- goes to ------------- high school in our school district. My son/daughter is very interested in obtaining the seal of biliteracy for Tamil. The language "Tamil" is our mother tongue that we speak at home. In addition, he/she learns Tamil from a weekend Tamil school for many years.

We understand from the IL State Board of Education website that Tamil assessment can be taken through ALTA. https://www.isbe.net/sealofbiliteracy. Please advise how and when my son/daughter can take the ALTA assessment for Tamil.

My son/daughter is graduating in the year 20__.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,
